Electrical investigation and enhancement of optical, structural, and dielectric properties of flexible PVDF/LiZnVO4 nanocomposites

Abstract Thin polymeric films of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) containing variable mass fractions nanoparticles (LiZnVO 4 ) were successfully synthesized via the ordinary solution casting method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), and ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy used to explore role LiZnVO on structural optical characteristics nanocomposites. In addition, dielectric permittivity (ε' ε") modulus (M' M") investigated. The XRD spectral data reveals crystalline nature pure with rhombohedral structure an average size 83 nm calculated using Scherrer’s equation W-L plot. interaction between PVDF was approved through shift in some IR bands. decrease band gap energies increasing attributed change density localized states within matrix. effect both frequency temperature AC parameters also Both ε' ε" had their maximum values at low frequencies decreased as increased. results from FT-IR correlated changes level value LiZnVO4, suggesting potential these materials basic components for lithium-ion batteries.
